pitchforkmedia
While searching around for more songs from The Curtain Hits the Cast from Low, which i did not find, i discovered pitchforkmedia, a magazine broadcasting record reviews and musik news every weekday. As they are treating with really interesting bands (making re- and interviews) you should excuse the lack of navigation. They also have a huge archiv which you can find at the bottom.

Westword is the Falter from Denver
But their online-magazine is much better! It concerns with events, art, cafés and a lot of music. Why am i telling that. I think i found a great band on this site: Low from Minnesota. They seem to proof how slow the metronome can go. I was absolutely fascinated by this short aiff: Standby. I must have it! It´s round midnight. Where can i get that now?
Low, the official one. Some hours later: Found a small realaudio, a remix: Over the Ocean. Found it at addicted to noise.

Weilheim in UpperBavaria
Never heard of? It´s a small town. Not wearth to be mentioned if there wouldn´t be very fine labels such as payola, hausmusik and kollaps featuring and distributing some of the most important german bands at the present time, all of them residently in the peripherie of this town. Some audios of them you can find at the mp3-files (Broken Radio, Tied+Tickled Trio, Console).
