Was bitte ist die blaue Sau? Schon was vor am Samstag? Wie wärs mit "lost and found"? Fluch selbst beschreibt seinen Abend wie folgt: Lost and found am Samstag, dem 8.4., in der blauen Sau, also der blue box (vienna)! Die monatliche Unzurechnungsfähigkeit zwischen meist Alter, und zumindest bei den meisten Menschen bereits aus dem Kurzzeitgedächtnis gelöschter Musik und manchmal noch gar nicht erschienener Platten, verlegt von Christian Schachinger und mir, präsentiert dieses mal... ja was? Das müsste man jetzt wissen. Wie üblich geht es aber bei der Programmauswahl um die persönliche Tagesverfassung. Nur soviel: "Tripping Out" von Curtis Mayfield wird laufen. Drei mal mindestens. Und ich bin derjenige, der dazu auf Knien rumrutschen wird. Was für eine Nummer!!!!!!!!!!!! Wobei das elsewhere das Flex sein sollte, wo Kruder, Geier, Gächter und der Rest der Bande für den Weltfrieden auflegen, unter besonderer Berücksichtigung des Scheisshaufens der Geschichte, unter dem "unsere" Regierung hoffentlich bald begraben sein wird. |

  A car bomb exploded in my flat last nightThe occurrence is still not cleared up. When I was waking up this morning everything was muddled, the computer was running, all dishes in the kitchen have been used and my drivinglicence was gone. Who the hell has been living here for the last three weeks? As I will get visitation from outer Klagenfurt this friday evening I will need a cleaning mission - now and promptly. Ans Eingemachte - step II I have released another two realaudios from my tiv sound feature Ans Eingemachte at the mp3-site. One is from Fuckhead, an experimental and elctronic hardcoreband from Linz, Austria. The other one is from my very favorit band FSK, coming from Bavaria, Germany. FSK is one of the most important and intelligent bands in central Europe (that´s what I think). They have been influenced by and working with a lot of different music styles such as (velvet) underground, country, jodeling, munic disco or tecno. What I like a lot is their transatlantic mixture. Mixing german and english, Europe and America, disco and country. It´s the band I have most learned of. |

Audio Inn - morgen, 5. April, Wiener Volksoper An evening for dedicated listeners. "Underground" und Elektronik wird hier in einem recht ungewöhnlichen Rahmen präsentiert, nämlich in der Volksoper. Dabei soll ein grösstmöglicher Einblick in die Musikszene gegeben und das Ambiente der Volksoper mit seiner großen Bühne voll ausgenützt werden. Konzeption und Realisation: Patrick Pulsinger & Erdem Tunakan. Durch den Abend führen Irene Lavina und Fritz Ostermayer. Und ich verbürge mich dafür, dass das genial wird. Ein bissl artsifartsi, ein bissl abgehoben, ein bissl komisches Ambiente aber einige Electroeinlagen waren schon lässig und für gewisse Musik hab ich´s oft gern wenn man sitzen kann, weil ich halt gar so ungeduldig bin und dann kann ich mich besser darauf einlassen. Und heute möge wieder mal das elektronische Wirtshaus das Lokla Eurer Wahl sein. Weshalb erklärt p3k. |

Charhizma - a most interesting austrian electronic label Charhizma is the label of Christoph Kurzmann, a man who deserves a lot of respect for his merits for austrians experimental electronic music. On the website they are presenting their own productions and make available some mp3s of the artists (e.g. b. fleischmann). Just ignore the design. By the way: one of the musicians is elmü, alias Helmut Heiland who is a member of popo.at. One of the MP3s has something to do with Fritz Ostermayer (from radio fm4) who deserves much more then respect and once I will tell you about him and his part in austrian music. Check this out die Sau! |

Ans Eingemachte ...was my contribution to the sound-program of tiv, a local and private alternative tv-station in vienna, austria. The sound-program is broadcasted each thursday at 20:15 - 21:15 and at 23:00 - 24:00. My contribution was about every second week for one and a half year till january 2000, than I put this energy into my website. Now I want to show to those who might be intersted Ans Eingemachte step by step. First trial is a band called Scheffenbichler. This band does not exist anymore but made some scurrile and charming music: Scheffenbichler.RM 06:46 min. And I will also publish them at the mp3-samples and mark them with a .RM |

Last but not least After netdyslexia, piefke 3000, Chris Langreiter, Dave Winer or spex I also want to say something about popo.at as I am a little bit envolved. About the slogan "move your popo and your ass will follow": For those who do not understand german - politische potentiale means political potentials, who could suppose that. The slogan itself is a conversion of a songtext from the FSK song Move Ahead.MP3 (1,3MB/64kbps) "move ahead and your ass will follow". Inspite of that, popo.at does not deal with music. Congratulation to Dave Winer who noticed the popo.at discussion forum finally which is made with his manila application. And he promtly recognized what it is all about: Webdesign!? I have to thank those guys from netdyslexia cause they tried to explain Mr Winer (amongst others) our site: It´s about an important political content and we decided for read- and useable low-design so that design should not divert from that. The Schramms - heute im b72 Einmal noch apropos Yo La Tengo: Dave Schramm war mal bei Yo La Tengo und im Vorjahr im Duo mit Jeb Loy Nichols im b72 zu hören. Und mit The Schramms spielt er heute in Wien (sind übrigens ebenfalls bei Matador). Alternative Countryrock könnte man sagen dazu, wenn man will oder wenn man umbedingt möchte, also wenn man das unbedingt benennen muss, weil klint ja eigentlich saudoof und ich weiss, dass da viele die Nase rümpfen. Zu unrecht, wie ich immerwieder meine. Und warum die Amis einen anderen Umgang mit ihrer Volksmusik (country) haben und wie sich das auf die Musik auswirkt, warum die also eher jodeln als wir, darüber will ich ein anderes mal was sagen. |
