bad luck today
didn't find anything useful on The Red Krayola while i'm still waiting for their cds to return home. Didn't find the black dot, either (i know i was the last one to search it ). Just again a mighty flatus, followed by these shitheads.
Good Night.

Le Beat Group Electrique
I remember a same-as-it-ever-was party in innsbruck/ tyrol about, say, six years ago, when suddenly three rotten guys entered the stage, set up two drums, upright bass, electric guitar. five minutes later they had crancked up every volume knob they could find to max and the man with the guitar would count " one, two three, four...." - bomb-beat-boom
I' ve never seen a live-gig like that again. Wreckless Eric & band

lucky them
who are bavarians and can listen to the very fine radiostation Zündfunk where Thomas Meinecke from FSK works as a radio-dj. Unfortunately I could never get tuned to this station yet and they have no streaming audio but provide a lot of other services at their sites. E.g. a story why we (german-speaking) are zapping but the Italians live close to their mama.

Turn it over baby - it´s done
Yes it´s done now - finally - the messagebook of this site - the perlscript. It includes mailaddress and your site´s url if you want and links it automatically with your name and your site´s name. I am the king! No, I am the fool and very very special thanks goes out to the helpful Hubert Hausegger and Otto Mateka from the winning team who finally made it running. Good morning!

country - chrome polished
Nevertheless i have to introduce you to yo la tengo's 'fakebook', one of my all time favourites (besides The Red Krayola's 'parable of arable land', as well as every other fart of Mayo Thompson, each of which would persuade pimp-whimpy-posers dackel & pinscher, ok. dakar & grinser to never ever shave their asses again and get them licked by sort of a 'deutsche dogge'). On this 1990 record Ira Kaplan and Georgia Hubley - one more time together with Dave Schramm on steel guitar and organ - are doing +/- other people's songs (with daniel johnston, peter stampfel or cat stevens(!) among them) and they really do get the hook-line out of it. I'd prefer a glas of brunello along with that or -more often- just take my seat in a fine bottle of blauer zweigelt and weeep. And i spell that with a triple e.

Whatch out for european weblogs!
Netdyslexias have implemented a practical tool on their site. Their Euroblogs and Favorits are listed in the order of their update. I think this will give the blogs a lot more and up to date attention. That´s a great tool and meets the idea of logging superbly. Keep this tool in mind - you might find it on known sites within the next time. Ironically the european blogs get the central pacific time within the manila application.

And I say welcome to hans_heinz
who will support me a bit as EuroRanch guest-author. We will see. And you can easily find out who hans heinz is but there is nothing to win. Ok, you will get sent the tangoboys-record if you are the first one who writes him a mail saying: "I know who you are and I want that record!" Only possible today (sunday) and if you are from Europe.
update: The record goes out to nobody, cause nobody did write. We make another brain-teaser another time, that´s for shure.

Tobi wrote something about catchy tunes recently - The Air That I Breath. Found that song twice now: From The Holies (mp3) and a fat orchestral version from Mr Midi. Oh yes!
